On Thursday, December 12th, the Saints Freshman Basketball team took on Central VA Homeschool in their third game of the year. The game ended 68-24 with the Saints being victorious, who will advance to 3-0 on the season.
Grayson Jones and Brayden Loehr both had excellent games, with Jones scoring 10 of the team’s 68 points. Loehr had 9 points and 2 steals. Overall the Saints had a commanding game over Central VA Homeschool, sharing their points amongst the entirety of the team.
The Saints remain undefeated and will take on Benedictine College Preparatory after a long winter break, their first in-league game of the year.
On Wednesday, January 8th, the Saints Freshman Basketball team took on Benedictine Preparatory School in their fourth game of the year. The game ended 46-30 with the Saints being victorious, who will advance to 4-0 on the season.
Gibson Beck and Will Baruch did much of the heavy lifting, with Beck scoring 15 of the team’s 46 points. Baruch had 8 points and 6 rebounds as well. Overall the Saints had a great game over rival Benedictine in the first prep league game of the season.
The Saints remain undefeated and will take on Atlee high school next Tuesday.
On Tuesday, January 14th, the Saints Freshman Basketball team took on Atlee High School in their fifth game of the year. The game ended 51-47 with the Saints being victorious, who will advance to 5-0 on the season.
Gibson Beck and Brayden Loehr did much of the heavy lifting, with 29 combined points and a plethora of other key stats. Overall the Saints had an amazing game over Atlee High School in a close game.
The Saints remain undefeated and will take on prep league team Trinity Episcopal on Friday, a quick turnaround for the Saints.
On December 3, the Saints Freshman Basketball team took on the Spirit Warhawks in their first game of the season. The game ended 64-24 in the Saints’ favor, who will advance to 1-0 on the season.
Gibson Beck and Lee Driscoll stood out in particular, combining for 19 points against the now 0-1 Warhawks. Beck scored 11 points, including 8 steals, and Driscoll had 8 points. Overall the team shared the ball, as every player scored with the exception of one.
The Saints remain undefeated, and will take on John Paul the Great on December 5 at home.
