The varsity lacrosse team won back-to-back games to move to 2-1 on the season.
The Saints dropped Deep Run on the road 10-3 Tuesday, March 18, and followed that with a commanding 18-6 win over First Flight of North Carolina the next day.
Bowan Ireland '27 (5 goals, 3 assists), Hugh Mack '27 (4 goals, 5 assists) and James Ayers '26 (3 goals) paced the offense against First Flight, as StC jumped out to a 9-0 lead. Wright Gehring '27 (13 of 15) and Tuck Humphries (10 of 13) dominated at face-off to keep the offense humming on Knowles Field.
Defensively, Win Lucas '27 grabbed 7 groundballs, and Hayden Regan '25 stopped eight shots.
Versus Deep Run under the lights, Ireland scored three times, and Charlie Edmonds '26 twice. Mack, Ayers, Deacon Begley '25, Harrison Fuller '25 and JJ Tidwell '27 hit the net once each.
Regan had seven saves, and Freddie Moring '27 stopped six shots for StC.
