The lacrosse All-Metro player of the year award is back where it belongs on St. Christopher's Road. Liam Wright '24 was named the Times-Dispatch's best boys lacrosse player recently.
The record-setting faceoff man crushed a school career record with 822 faceoff wins on his way to first-team all-state honors, along with a second first-team All-Metro bid. In 2024, Wright won 249 matchups gobbling up 135 ground balls, adding six goals and three assists.
The Saints have had a player win the award in four of the past five years, as Kent Goode (2022), Chase Mullins (2021) and Luke Valentine (2019) have had their named etched on the trophy as well.
