Maddox White '26 and Victor Olesen '26 led the outdoor track team to a second-place finish at the VISAA state meet at Sports Backers Stadium.

White won his first outdoor state title in the 100-meter dash in 10.74, then ran a personal best in the 400. He also helped the 4x400 team to a second-place finish, teaming up with Coleman Mayer '27, Elisha Asare '26 and Avi Gupta '25. Gupta, Patrick Mayer '24, Noah Smith '27 and Beauford Mathews '25 finished second in the 4x800.

Olesen won the pole vault, setting a meet record in 16-6, over a foot better than StC alum Harrison Rice did in 2018. Olesen also took a break from the skies and ran a PR in the 110-meter hurdles good for fifth behind third place Briggs Ireland '24 (PR) and fourth-place Durham Dodson '25.

Jacob Zollar '24 carried his momentum from Preps over to states, placing third in the 200 and helping the 4x100 team of Hunter Garnett '24, Asare and Addison Gosline '25 to third place.

EJ Seward (3rd in discus, 4th in shot), Ireland (4th in high jump), Kahlil Nash (4th, long jump) and Henry Rice '25 (4th, triple jump) all scored well for StC.
