Tuesday, April 16, the JV Baseball squad traveled up to Woodberry Forest and beat the Tigers 19-1.
It was a wire-to-wire effort for the Saints, who blew the game open early with a 6-1 lead after the first two innings. Led by Wesley Connor '27, who picked up 7 strikeouts over 4.0 innings of play, the Saints had a great game on both sides of the bat. The game was called following an eight-run 5th inning for the Saints.
The win moved the Saints to 7-1 on the year, winning six straight. The next game for JV baseball will be a home contest against Woodberry Forest on Friday, April 19 at 4:30 PM.
