Brandon Jennings '24 was named first-team all-state by the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association March 19. Jennings is the first St. Christopher's basketball player to receive the honor since Alexander Petrie '17 in 2017.
The VCU signee had a fantastic season, averaging 20.3 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block per contest, scoring in double figures every game.
He was a two-time All-Prep league pick, and made the league all-tourney team three times. He was named third-team All-Metro as a junior.
Jennings finishes his career with 1,391 points, good for third all-time behind Nick Sherod '16 (2,815) and Petrie (2,017), surpassing Rodney Williams '13 (1,297) and Marshall Tucker '02 (1,259) for a spot in the top five.
