The varsity wrestling team earned a thrilling 44-30 victory over Benedictine Friday, February 2 in front of a raucous crowd in Carter Gym.

The Saints were buoyed by six pins, including two in the middleweights from Tyler Hood '25 and Mitchell Faglioni '25. Sophomore Eric Pendlebury's pin at 190 was huge, followed by a strong decision by his brother Luke '26 at 215 to secure the match. Bryson Smith '24 put the cherry on top at heavyweight, ending his opponent's chances 20 seconds into the first period.

The Saints will compete in the Prep League tournament Saturday, February 3 at Woodberry Forest.
