The trio of Darius Gray '26, Henry Omohundro '24 and Jacob Zollar '24 were named to the Richmond Times-Dispatch's All-Metro football team over winter break.
Gray, a dominant offensive and defensive lineman, was named to the first team. He had 33 tackles, including 7 for loss, with 3.5 sacks on defense. He also helped the rushing game average 150 yards per contest from his left tackle position on his way to co-Prep League player of the year and first-team all-state honors.
Omohundro and Zollar were named to the second team.
Omohundro, a UVA commit, racked up 49 tackles and led the Saints with 7.5 sacks and 4 fumble recoveries from his defensive end position. He scored 5 TDs on offense, four rushing.
Zollar was an all-purpose pick, and rightfully so, as he was in the middle of StC's success in a myriad of ways.
He picked off 7 passes and had 9 pass breakups at defensive back. He also blocked a kick, forced two fumbles, recovered another, and racked up 34 tackles, fourth on the team. Offensively, Zollar had 1200 all-purpose yards (473 receiving) and 3 TDs playing as a wide receiver, slot back, punt and kick returner.
