The varsity football team fell in the state VISAA semifinals 18-6 to top-seeded St. Michael the Archangel Saturday, November 9 at Riverbend High School.

The Saints hung tough, trailing only 6-0 at halftime before the Warriors scored on 51- and 6-yard runs early in the third and fourth periods, respectively.

StC got on the board with a 4-yard TD pass from Chase Roberts '26 to Jayden Brown '25 late in the fourth period.

Defensive stalwarts on the evening included Walker Turley '26 (10 tackles, fumble recovery), Darius Gray '26 (9 tackles, 3 for loss, sack), Elijah Brandon '26 (8 tackles, 2 for loss) and Gavin Johnson '25 (8 tackles, 3 for loss). Addison Gosline '25 posted 71 offensive yards to lead the offense.
