Friday, January 17th the Saints Varsity swim and dive came away with a huge victory at the River City Classic.
The Saints as a team had an elite performance starting with amazingly with Levi Jones '27 winning in diving for the third time in a row. The team also had an impressive performance with the relay teams and upper class-men leading the charge. LT Nguyen '27 had an amazing day in the water getting his first state cut of the season matching his all time best and also finished off the day besting his 100m time in the 400m free relay. Another notable performance from Matthew Matthews '27 who shaved over 1.5 seconds of his lifetime-best 100 backstroke time and over 4 seconds off his season-best time.
The team overall had 39 personal-best times and 60 state cuts achieved, showing good forward growth for the team.
The Saints will now look ahead to their next meet at home Friday, January 24 on senior day where they will hope to continue to dominate the competition at their much awaited matchup versus Freeman.
