Friday, January 24 the Saints Varsity swim and dive team dropped their first meet of the season by only 2 points in the very first showing of the "Three Chopt Throwdown" in a dual against Douglas Freeman on Senior Day.
Regardless of the loss this Saints team still put up an extremely impressive fight with 13 new personal bests and 51 state cuts achieved. Christian Rogers '25 finished the night off by setting new personal bests in 4 different races. Additionally Tripp Schnell '28 shaved 4 seconds off his 100 free breaking the 1-minute mark for the first time. The team overall had an amazing day in the water with countless impressive performances.
With only 3 weeks left in the season the Saints team will look to make the most of their time left. The Saints next meet is the Prep League Swim and Dive championship. Diving takes place on January 31, while swimming is contested on February 1 at St. Catherine's.
