Last Thursday, January 16, futsal played two matches. StC Red took down Blue Ridge’s 1st team 5-1, and StC Gray beat Blue Ridge’s 2nd team 2-1. StC Red finishes the day with a record of 4-0-1 while StC Gray is at 5-1-1. 

After a scoreless first half, StC Gray took the win with the help of a disastrous Blue Ridge own goal and a goal by Luke Bleecher ‘28. Hayes Carithers ‘26 had three saves as the Saints held Blue Ridge to just a single goal. 

StC Red had oodles of scorers including Steven Bishara ‘25, Jack Bleecher ‘25, Cole Butler ‘26, Daniel Kehoe ‘26, and Tyler Overstreet ‘26. Ben Smith ‘25 was lockdown on defense with five saves in a defensive masterclass that held Blue Ridge to one goal.

The Saints will play again Thursday, January 23rd at Collegiate. StC Gray plays at 5:50 while StC Red plays at 8:45.
