Last Thursday, January 9th, futsal played three matches. StC Red tied Blue Ridge’s 1st team ending their winning streak while StC Gray went 2-0 against Blue Ridge and Collegiate’s 2nd teams. 

StC Gray was helped by a multitude of scorers; across both games Luke Bleecher ‘28 scored three goals, Jake Parker ‘27 had a goal, Nick Parker ‘27 had a goal, Miles Carlyon ‘27 had a goal, and Becket Scallon ‘28 had two goals. Adam Bishara ‘28 tallied 7 saves on the day including a shutout against Blue Ridge. StC Gray moves to 4-1-1 on the season. 

Lukas Gordinier ‘26 and Cole Butler ‘26 led the scoring for StC Red with two and one goals respectively. Ben Smith ‘25 pulled off 5 saves as the saints secured the tie. While the win streak has unfortunately come to an end, StC Red is still yet to lose this season with a record of 3-0-1.

The Saints will play again Thursday, January 16th at Collegiate. StC Red plays at 5:15 while StC Gray plays at 6:25.
