Lisa Snider

Head of Lower School
Lisa Snider joined St. Christopher’s in 1993 as the Lower School's first full-time academic support teacher, shifting to the Lower School coordinator of resource and then to director of curriculum. She was named Head of the Lower School in 2024. Lisa has been awarded three of the highest forms of recognition for a faculty member at St. Christopher’s–the Andrew Jackson Bolling III Faculty Award in 1996, the Hawkins-Hideaway Prize for Loyalty and Service in 2022, and the Charles E. Noell Travel Grant in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology and Master of Science in special education from Longwood. Lisa also received her post-Master's certification for principals and supervisors from VCU.
