The varsity wrestling team returned with its third straight top-10 finish at National Preps Saturday, February 22, bringing home three All-Americans.

StC placed ninth overall behind Tyler Hood '25, Walker Turley '26, and Caleb Haney '25. The Saints placed 10th in 2024 and eighth in 2023.

Hood, a four-time state champ, placed second at 150 pounds. He earned his third All-American honor after placing sixth in 2023 and fourth in 2024.

Turley wrapped up a bronze medal at 144 pounds, winning his third-place match 4-0. He also has captured three All-Americans, placing eighth in 2023 and third in 2024.

Haney grabbed 8th place, finishing well above his 13th seed, dropping Marlo Clark of champion Lake Highland Prep 1-0. It is his first All-American honor.

Lance Clelland '27 was a match away from All-American status, finishing 3-2 on the weekend with an epic comeback for a pin before losing in the next match.
