StC Red remains undefeated

Thursday, December 12 the futsal team played four matches.

StC Red took down Benedictine’s 1st and 2nd teams, while StC Gray went 1-1 winning against Trinity’s 2nd team, but falling short against Collegiate’s top team.

StC Gray was led by Luke Bleecher ‘28, who had six total goals. Cash Kisner ‘27 and Nick Parker ‘27  had 1 and 2 goals, respectively. Hayes Carithers ‘26 continues to lead on defense with seven saves across the two games. Mason Groome ‘28 also got involved on defense with two saves in the victory over Trinity’s 2nd team. StC Gray is now 3-1-1.

StC Red had a plethora of goal scorers with Jack Bleecher ‘25 (4), Lukas Gordinier ‘26 (2), Gardner Kaufman ‘25 (1), Max Mumford ‘25 (4), and Luke Ryan ‘25 (1) all finding their way onto the score sheet during the Saints dominant win over Benedictine’s 2nd team. Things were a little quieter against Benedictine’s 1st team, however, as only Steven Bishara ‘25 (1) and Jack Bleecher ‘25 (2) were able to score. Still though, the Saints prevailed 3-1. Ben Smith ‘25 continued to make saves with 5 on the day. The Saints continue undefeated with a record of 3-0-0.

The Saints will play again Thursday, January 9 at Collegiate. StC Red plays at 5:15 pm, while StC Gray will take the court at 7 and 8:45 pm.
